The 3 Test Parts
PTE Academic is structured into 3 main parts — Speaking & Writing, Reading, and Listening — completed in approximately 2 hours in a single sitting.

For Australian universities, most programmes require a minimum overall score of 58–65 with no communicative skill below 50. UK universities typically require 59–65+. Engineering and Science programmes may have stricter Writing and Listening minimums.

You can reschedule or cancel up to 14 days before your test date at no extra charge. Rescheduling within 14 days incurs a fee. Cancellations more than 14 days in advance receive a full refund. No refund is given within 14 days of the test.
